This place is amazing!! The menu is huge!! I'm definitely going to try more dishes. It was hard to choose. I got the pork Oso bucco over risotto Delicious. Also had a Cesar salad which was delicious as well!! Our table got 4 deserts to share. Soooo good. Had 7 people and everyone loved their food!!! Service was awesome as well. Great wine selection too!!

You need to get the La Brusca! I want to go back just for that, it's the best bruschetta I've ever had. I like that they give complementary bread with marinara sauce, which beware has a spicy hint to it! This restaurant is very cozy and a great date night place. It's authentic and we received great service. Parking can be tough, which is the only downside.

The first time I came to Pomodoro for dinner was over 8 years ago and I was captured by its ambiance and great food. My co workers convinced me to try the roasted Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Changed my life as I had hated Brussels sprouts before due to people not knowing how to cook them, but those were perfection. Last night the charm and ambiance was still there. I tried the beet salad for a starter, the linguine Al pesto and tiramisu to finish. Each was delicious. The pasta was rich in flavor and had pesto, green beans and potatoes. A wonderful combination, comforting, rich and so damn good. Tiramisu was perfect. The wine I enjoyed was a great compliment. A wonderful dining experience. One of the best on shelter island. I will back and it won't take 8 years.

My niece was craving Italian after her game. This was our second choice as the first place ended up having a 90 minute wait list. This is a cute home converted into a restaurant. After taking our order they brought fresh bread with a tomato dipping sauce. The sauce had a nice kick to it so be cautious if you don't like spicey food. It did get busy, so we did have a longer wait for our food. Once delivered, everyone enjoyed their food. My lamb shank was really tasty and a sizable lamb shank. My BIL said his halibut tasted really good. The ravioli was a hit too but the portion was quite small (only 4 pieces of ravioli). Both penne pastas were ok. There was too much tomato sauce. We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert.

Well, they didn't have our phoned in reservation, but it wasn't a problem because we went early enough for dinner. I had the lamb pappardelle, which was good - but I prefer the one at Osteria Romantica. My friend loved their steak, but I like to try the Italian food at an Italian restaurant. The tables are very close together, so close that we shared a dessert with the people at the next table. There are a few parking spaces in a lot plus off street parking is easy to find.

First time there with friends for dinner. I had the Salmone Ripieno and it was delicious! Baked salmon stuffed with scallops and crab topped with curry sauce and sides of roasted carrots, broccoli and potatoes. Plate came to the table bot and nice portion (had enough for lunch the next day). Friends had items from the daily specials which they enjoyed as well. Would go back for sure. Ambience is casual comfort. Service was decent. Parking is not the best.

Everything about this darling neighborhood spot in Point Loma just makes you feel GOOD. From the heavenly pastas to the crunchy salads (you'll lick the bowl after the last bite of Pierina) to the way the whole restaurant joins in for a birthday song, this place just feels like home. But like, Home with an Italian Chef on hand. Portions are big. Service is lovely. Ambiance is low light, cozy, comfortable. You'll want it to be a regular spot because there are too many delicious items to try.
